A woman has been found dead on a popular beach on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
Her body was found washed up at the north end of Peregian Beach at about 1pm on Wednesday, police said.
The woman is yet to be identified.

Police are investigating her death but believe it not to be suspicious.
Sunshine Coast Surf Lifesaving Services coordinator Shane Urban said it was a “tragic” incident.
