Shellharbour, NSW: Paramedics work to save boy struck by lightning near Wollongong

A boy has been struck by lightning on a beach in Shellharbour in NSW.

The boy under 10 years old was hit at Barrack Point in Shellharbour on the state’s South Coast.

NSW Ambulance rushed to the scene at around 5:20pm on Thursday afternoon.

NCA NewsWire understands that paramedics are still at the scene and are giving the boy CPR.

His condition is not yet known.
