A tense altercation filled with profanity between a security guard and a supermarket shopper in Perth has been captured on video.
The incident occurred in Balcatta, a predominantly middle-class suburb in the city’s north.
In the video, the security guard and the woman can be seen engaged in a heated tug of war over a Coles shopping trolley that contained groceries, including soft drinks.
The struggle nearly spilled onto a busy road.
The woman claims she paid for the items and displayed her receipt to a female shop assistant.
“I f***** showed her mate, I paid for it,” she said.

He holds onto the trolley, preventing the woman from leaving as the argument escalates. ”I showed the lady,” she argues, but he responds with a firm “No no no!”
The outcome of the incident is currently unknown. According to a spokesperson speaking to the Daily Mail, the incident was not reported to Western Australia Police.
