A man’s made a brief appearance in a Perth court, accused of killing a woman and dumping her body in a harbour.
Muhammad Abdur Rehman Mirza on Wednesday appeared in Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court via video link from prison, where he’s been held since he was charged with the murder of Helen Jeremy Solomon Marsuk on December 9.
Police allege Mr Mirza, 21, killed Ms Marsuk, 25, on December 1 in the suburb of Gosnells, about 20km southeast of the Perth CBD.

Her body was found floating at the Success Boat Harbour in South Fremantle, about 25km away, three days later on December 4.
Mr Mirza has also been charged with wilfully destroying evidence, like clothes, a knife, and a phone, and interfering with the woman’s corpse.

In his brief appearance on Wednesday, Mr Mirza’s case was adjourned for four weeks.
He’s due to reappear in the same court on April 12 and was remanded in custody.
Police previously revealed Ms Marsuk, from Koongamia, was last seen wearing a pink dress and carrying a pink handbag around Oats St in Carlisle on November 30.
