A woman has died after entering a strangers home in the early hours of the morning.
Police were called to a duplex in the suburb of Tugun on the border of Queensland and NSW at 1.40am on Tuesday.
Officers were following up on reports an “unknown woman” had entered a premises at Partridge Place.
Early police investigations suggest an alleged altercation occurred and the woman was restrained by the occupants.

When police arrived on the scene, the woman was discovered unresponsive.
Emergency services attended and were unable to revive her.
She was declared deceased at the scene.
Police investigations are ongoing.
