NSW Police have charged a man after he allegedly made threats against Stan Grant.
The former Q+A host, who stood down from the role only days ago over online abuse, reported online threats to police in Sydney just before midday Tuesday.
An investigation was launched, with police arresting a 41-year-old man in Fairfield Heights at about 6.40pm Wednesday.

He has been charged with use carriage to threaten serious harm, and carriage service to menace/harass/offend.
He has been granted bail to appear in Fairfield Local Court on Wednesday.
Mr Grant, a 59-year-old Wiradjuri man, used an ABC opinion piece published on Friday to announce he was stepping down as Q+A host after 10 months in the role.
He said the decision came after ongoing “relentless racial filth”, blasting the ABC as an “institutional failure” over management allegedly failing to offer him public support.
