Man dies in horror two-car crash

A 73-year-old man driving by himself has died in a two-car crash, police have confirmed.

The Queensland man was driving a Kia Sportage southbound on Wallaville Goondoon Rd in the Bundaberg Region of Wallaville, Queensland on Friday evening.

His vehicle collided with an oncoming Toyota Prado about 5.45pm being driven by a Kalkie man, 20.

The 73-year-old died at the scene.

The 20-year-old man and his two passengers, a 51-year-old Kalkie woman and a 20-year-old Wongarra man – were taken to Bundaberg Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Queensland Police’s Forensic Crash Unit are investigating the incident and have appealed for witnesses, or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
