A man has been charged with murder after a 40-year-old woman was allegedly found unresponsive with stab wounds at an East Perth hotel.
Police were called to Quality Hotel Ambassador Perth on Adelaide Tce about 9.40am on Sunday.
“They located a woman with stab wound injuries,” police said in a statement on Monday.
“The woman was taken by St John Ambulance WA to hospital, where she later died.”
Homicide squad detectives took a 42-year-old man, who knew the woman, into custody for questioning at the time.
He has now been charged with her murder and is due to appear in Perth Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
