Paramedics have rescued a person from the bottom of a cliff after they fell from a popular lookout spot in the Blue Mountains.
Paramedics are responding following reports of the accident about 8.25am on Tuesday.
Previous reports suggested two people had become trapped, but it is now understood only one person fell from the Portal Lookout in Glenbrook.

It is not known if there are any injuries.
“Portal lookout offers gorge and river views with abseiling and climbing options, near Western Sydney, in Blue Mountains National Park,” the NSW National Park website reads.
