A toddler has died after reportedly being struck by a ride-on lawnmower on the NSW South Coast.
Police from the South Coast District were called to the Pambula District Hospital just after 12:30pm on Saturday after a child was brought in with severe injuries.
Just after 12.30pm on Saturday, officers attached to South Coast Police District responded to Pambula District Hospital, after a child was bought in with severe injuries.
A crime scene has been established at the hospital and at other addresses in South Pambula.
The three-year-old child, who police say was “reportedly struck by a ride-on lawnmower”, was treated at the hospital but could not be saved.
Officers have established crime scenes at the hospital as well as in South Pambula as their inquiries into the death continue.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
