Boy, 5, vanishes from home

A 5-year-old boy has vanished from his home in far-west Queensland.

He was last seen around 6pm at his home on Abel Smith Parade in the rural town of Pioneer, near Mount Isa.

Police hold concerns for the little boy’s safety after family and police were unable to find him during their searches.

He is described as Aboriginal, 100cm tall, slim build, with short black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a white and black singlet with black shorts and riding a red scooter.

Anyone who has seen the boy is urged to contact police.
