A popular Aussie brewery has recalled one of their beers after an undeclared ingredient that can cause an allergic reaction.
Stone & Wood Brewing Co is recalling its Counter Culture Eirinn Irish Cream Stout after it was discovered a batch of the product does not warn consumers it contains milk.
Milk is considered a potential allergen and needs to be declared on the packaging.
“Any consumers who have a milk allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed,” Food Standards Australia and New Zealand said.

The beer has been sold in store and online at bottle shops and retail outlets in NSW, VIC (including Paul’s IGA in Ringwood East) and QLD.
Customers with a milk allergy who have purchased the product with the best before date August 16 2023 are advised not to consume the product.
They can return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
